SAFETY TRAINING PLATFORM FABRICATION

PROJECT DETAILS:

The Safety Platform Construction project was a custom fabrication and welding initiative completed by the CL Construction Fabrication team at Frontier Cooperative. Designed as a hands-on agricultural safety training environment, the platform replicates real-world grain handling equipment and confined space scenarios to provide trainees with practical experience in bin entry procedures, equipment operation, lockout/tagout awareness, and fall protection practices. The project included the fabrication and assembly of structural steel framing, custom handrails, toe guards, elevated work platforms, a simulated grain bin access system, a modified bucket elevator training unit, electrical controls, and safety tie-off systems. Components were fabricated, assembled, and finished to create a durable training structure that allows students and operators to safely learn critical grain facility safety procedures.
